When selecting a specialist finish or feature to compliment the design of an environment, there are so any elements to consider. It is very important to select a suitable feature that will complement your style by enhancing the overall theme and bringing your space to life.
The most critical element in any floor finish or coating is probably the preparation prior to application or installation. I found this to be especially crucial in older existing homes where a renovation has taken place; cracked and uneven concrete surfaces need remedial work prior to the installation of a new flooring system. I always suggest that a surface repair using a self leveling screed is applied prior to the finishing coat or application. Another important piece of advice is that the flooring should be the very last element to install.
